another one :

Why do i always have to select the ONLY midi output i have to hear my VSTi ?

Except these two things, ACID Pro 4.0 is the most logical software ever made. Great job guys.

FX could be non-inplace and cause additional latency to be added to real-time preview.

Because we felt defaulting a VSTi to recieve input was the wrong thing to do.
Perhaps this should be made a user selectable option.

Ok i understand that.

Yes maybe it should be added in the Preference menu.

You know like a tick box :

Which output would you like to be the default one :
[x] Midiman USB 1x1 (Output)

Every night i dream of it :)
