Subject:Acid pro 4.0 ...... HELP PLEASE !!!

ok , when i record in acid pro 4.0 it only pics up on one side of the wave forcing it to only be in one speaker .. wut can i do to fix this because this never happened to me wit other recording programs and i am new with acid pro .

When recording, be sure to select a stereo source under Record device in the record window. If that didn't help, elaborate on how you have everything set up, including what hardware you're using.

DuMpSteR,

If Iacobus' suggestion didn't help, please check to see if you can record in stereo in other applications. The problem you describe could easily be caused by a bad cable, an 1/8" headphone plug that is not pushed all the way in, or (as was the case with one of my home machines around a year ago) a problem with the soundcard itself. Luckily, in my case it was only an SBLive! Value, and didn't cost much to replace.
