Subject:Acid 4.0 doesnt give back 3.0 projects at 100%

Anybody noticed that too ?

Some differences that i noticed:

Track FX level different in 4.0.
Less stability (almost dont run at all projects with many tracks, which run flawless in A3).
Different track and bus volumes.

Perhaps this will change in the next update. Till then 3.0 projects only playable in 3.0

That's strange, because I get the exact reverse; projects that were brought to their knees in ACID Pro 3.0 playback just fine in ACID Pro 4.0. Haven't noticed anything different in projects either.

Have you tried uninstalling ACID 3.0 and leaving ACID 4.0? I've seen posts with limited success with this scenario (me included).

Thanks for replying.

I dont dare uninstall 3.0 ! since it gives back my projects at 100%.

I will do it if i get confirmation from more users or from SOFO technical department.
