Subject:couple errors

got a p 300, 468 ram, g400, ensoniq audiopci w/ win 2k sp2, directx 8.1a

acid 3 used to run like a workhorse i could run 100+ disk tracks with effects and no problems. then like a fool i download the acid 4 demo and plop it in. now acid 4 crashes constantly and i figure i'm happy with 3. i go back to using 3 and can't get it to load at all i just get the "acid.exe has generated error and will be shut down"
I get rid of 3 and 4, clean out my registry of SF entries and reinstall 4 as that version would actually load past the splash screen (albeit a demo version) so if i'm going to buy 4 i need help solving these errors, otherwise i need to know how to get my version of acid working again >

when atempting to play a song i made in acid3 i get this error.

"An error occured while starting playback.

An unexpected error has occured"

---i've tried the disable hardware accelaration tip, though it didn't help.

Tony,

Did you try loading the latest build of 3.0 after installing 4.0? ACID 3.0g should run happily alongside ACID 4.0.
