For starters, specifically, how are you doing the MIDI out/Audio in for the recording? What MIDI device and soundcard are you using, and which drivers? Second, what OS are you on? What driver model are you using (CWD, MS Mapper, or ASIO)? Thanks, Joel

Here's what I've got: Windows XP, AMD Athlon XP 1600+, 512 MB SDRAM, NVidia GForce II w/latest drivers, M-Audio Delta 66 sound card w/latest (not ASIO Beta drivers), Midiman Midisport 2x2 with latest drivers, latest version of via 4 in 1 drivers also. Midi Out using piano roll and clock sync, it plays my Virus whilst recording directly into a track in Acid. I'm not using ASIO because of the M-Audio issues so I've just been using the Windows Classic Wave Driver and selecting the M-Audio channels I want to record to. I don't use any midi mapping, just direct to the Midisport. Does this info help? Thanks for replying, Midihead

Need more details here.
