Is there any way I can record a voice track to add or mix to an instrumental track? Maybe record voice on a left track and instumental on the right? If so, how can I keep the timing the same? Ideally, I'd like to add more than one track, like done in a recording studio, where each instrument is recorded separately. Thanks. David Causier |

A multi-track programe like Vegas is what you want, which lets you play along with and record separtly the new parts with the previously recorded track. This was once called, "overdubing" a-long-time-a-go. Yeah.... but, the only thing you can do with SF is: Select and copy the track to be added.// Position the cursor where to want to insert the added overdub.// Right-click/Mix... audition and adjust the parameters as needed. click OK. Make copies of the original tracks for a back-up. Once saved, you cannot remove, re-position or change the mix. |
