I'm running Win2000 OS, 512megs DDR. For some reason, the program will not run on my system. I am able to install successfully, but when I run the program it hangs at the 'logo' page that shows you a graphic, who it's registered to, and the serial number. My HD light blinks every minute or so, but I've waited for a really long time and nothing happens. I can't even alt-ctrl-del to end the task, I have to do a hard reset. I checked out the knowledge database, and found something regarding a file named aardvark.exe or similar. Supposedly you need to shut this down before you install, but I've searched for that file on my system and there's nothing. Thanks guys, appreciate it in advance! |

Fiddled around with this for a while, finally fixed it. All I had to do was update my ATI video card drivers. Hope that's some help to someone in a similar situation. |

You are indeed right. There was a problem with ATI's earlier CATALYST drivers and ACID Pro. Getting the latest version of the drivers (02.3) clears the problem up. Glad to hear you've got it working. Iacobus |
