hello. my problem seems to be a small one, I need help:
if I want to record any audio signal or file, I am not able to do so, because two audio-programs are running. so there is always an error and some troubles with the audio-mapper...don´t know how to act...

not sure what the problem is, but if you already have the audio on your PC in winamp, then why don't you just open it in sound forge?

If the file is already on your hard drive, you don't have to play it in one app and record it into Sound Forge. In Sound Forge, just go to File/Open to open it.

I haven't used WinAmp enough to know about this because frankly i find the user interface to be atrociously annoying, obtuse, dense, and user hostile ;) ... but ... does WinAmp have the ability to play 'net broadcasts & streams? If so, then perhaps the question is referring to recording something that is streaming off the 'net instead of something that is already on the user's hard drive.
