Need Desperate help with Acid Techno 3.0 - No audio when adding loops to project -ACID Product Family

Subject:Need Desperate help with Acid Techno 3.0 - No audio when adding loops to project Posted by: Rebel Date:9/18/2002 11:29:12 PM I just got the content cd for Acid Techno today. When I add the loops (all the loops are in wav format) to the Project's track view....no event is added although a track is added that displays the correct name of the loop....and consequently if you play the project then there is no sound. I also have Vegas Audio so I experimented with opening these loop in Vegas Audio...I was successful in opening these loops in Vegas Audio and those events showed the time-varying waveform as well along with the sound. This was just to ensure that loops are ok. In addition to that, within Acid Techno, in the explorer (preview) window, I can see all the loop and also play them from within the explorer view. The loops play fine without any problem. So to summarize it, the time when I run into the problem is when I add the loops to the project ...the tracks show up....but no event on the timeline and hence no sound. Please help. Thanks Raheel

In Vegas, when you add media, it will add an event to the track. In ACID, adding a file from the explorer will add a track, but does not paint in an event, since ACID wouldn't know how many loop-thrus of the media you want, or which portion to play. Hello-
