I just happened to be perusing the download section and lo and behold I see the ACID 4.0a update :) I am sure it will make a lot of 4.0 users happy. I admit I have not really put ACID 4.0 through its paces yet, been too busy working on a project involving SONAR recently. The main problem I have been seeing, that has affected me, in my preliminary exploration of ACID's 4.0 VSTi features is that I get long sustaining notes(they never seem to release)when trying to play any VSTi using a MIDI keyboard controller. I am using the Delta's latest WDM drivers(.27 which are ASIO compatible). Is this what the new Delta beta driver update fixes? I am leery about trying the new beta driver, because the .27 ones work great in all my other apps(SONAR 2.0, ACID 3.0, SF 5.0, Vegas Video 3.0) and I do not want to "fix" a performance problem in ACID 4.0 at the expense, of all my other apps. Otherwise, latency and stability wise they work fine in ACID 4.0, I just can't get rid of the infinite sustaining MIDI notes problem when playing VSTi's in ACID, which makes VSTi's unusable in ACID 4.0. I suspect this may be a MIDI issue. Athough, my MIDI interface(Roland UA-100 USB) has no such problems with othe MIDI software including SONAR 2.0. No biggie, I prefer using SONAR 2.0 ( which does not exhibit this problem and is rock solid @ 1.5msec latency) for softsynths anyway and leave ACID for what it does best, loop arranging.
