i recorded myself playing a soft synth but now want to go back and tweek it
with da knobz.....

best way?...

I am not totally sure if you can do this....

I dont know tho...

this is for cubase, but maybe some of the rules apply?

Simply record yourself playing the synth again, but this time tweak "da knobz" (via CC data from your controller). ACID will record it right alongside your notes and your input can control your soft synth live while you record.

In the end you will have two tracks routed to the same soft synth. One will have your orginal recording with the notes, then second just your knob tweaking CC info.
