Hi,

The Add/Remove Application icon become strange in ContorolPanel that I install ACID Pro 4.0a.
When ACID Pro 4.0a is installed the icon is indicated normally.

I know it is not big problem.
I am anxious about it because such a phenomenon is not happen in ACID Pro 3.0 and SoundForge 5.0 & 6.0.

I have heard this happening on my friends computers and it is because he had (HAD) a cracked version (not implying you do) ...thats the only time Ive seen that happen.

and that wasnt ACID, it was Ohmforce's Ohmboyz DX I think. it made the add/remove programs a skull and crossbones.

Hi,

I have product serial number for ACID Pro 4.0.
I did download ACID Pro 4.0a from SonicFoundry and online registration.
So, It is not cracked version.

ACID Pro 4.0 made the add/remove programs a same as ACID Pro 4.0 icon.
ACID Pro 4.0a made the add/remove programs like a My Computer icon.

Nobody happen this?

I did install on Windows2000 Pro + SP3.

Is this happen only Japanese OS?

Most likely, it's just Windows GDI resources getting mixed up. Have you rebooted your machine since you saw this behavior? Does the icon remain?

Yes, I did reboot.
But nothing change icon.
