How can I select just a part of a beatmapped track in Acid and export it in SForge Studio without exporting the whole track but just the selected part in Acid? I tried erasing one measure on both sides of the "piece" I wanted (so I can select just the part I want) but the whole track exported again, wich means I have to relocate the precise area I want from this track in SForge... Thanks. |

Select the protion you want in Acid and render to a new wave. Load this one in SF. |

OK. That's what I'm doing every time right now. But what I was wondering is : is it possible to export **directly** the selected portion into SForge without having to render/save before? There's a "edit in Sound Forge" option in Acid under the "tools" tab that will let you import what you want to edit into Sound Forge (like it says...). But every time, you'll be importing the whole song/piece/masterpiece/callitthewayyouwant. What I'd like is: importing just a preselected portion for editing instead of having to "find" it again in the whole song (imagine the heck if I wanted just a piece of a whole opera if I only wanted 2-3 seconds of it to make a loop )... |
