Subject:Acid NOT working with Sound Forge

I am using Acid 4.0a on P2,400, 512 M ram, Win ME, Layla 20, Soundblaster Pt Live, In previous versions of Acid I was able to suspend Acid while I went into Sound Forge or Wavelab to edit a wav file and listen to my edit. Now when I do this, it appears that Acid does NOT suspend the connection with my Layla so that I can hear the file in SF, and therefore cannot hear the file I am editing in SF until I actually close Acid. I have the appropriate boxes checked in the general preferences tab. Any ideas anyone would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to a MUCH MORE STABLE version 4.0b!!!!! This version is WAY TOO unstable with my setup!!!

How bizarre... Everything used to work for me but now I *also* got a bug working with Sound Forge Studio 6 and Acid Pro 4. Seems when I switch from one to the other, things happen...
See my post: ".pca files: can just open last end of loop in APro4..."

I can open a file from Acid 4.0a and edit it in SoundForge. But I keep getting messages in SoundForge telling me that another application has changed the file and would I like to reopen it. I need to reconfirm it but I'm think this happens to files I open independently in Soundforge as well as those through Acid. I get this message constantly. This never happened with Acid 2.0 and Soundforge. It's really distracting.
