Subject:Midi Connection to an External Sequencer

I am trying to set my External Sequencer as a Master and would like for ACID to chase the CLock. I have tried all the options in ACID 3.0 and I couldn't get it to work.
Any ideas ???

ACID can only trigger to MIDI Time Code. It will not slave to MIDI clock.

You will have to make ACID the master MIDI clock generator and have your external sequencer slave to ACID.

This will not work for me because all the rest of my recording gear is sync to my Sequencer as a master.

Well if the rest of the gear is slaved to MIDI clock from the external sequencer, then why can't the be slaved to ACID instead? It should make no difference to them what the master is.
