Subject:CDA - What is it?

I have a file with a cda extension and I can't seem to figure out how to edit it.

Did this file come from an audio CD? CDA stands for Compact Disc Audio. If you put a music CD in your CD-ROM drive and browse it with explorer you'll see the tracks listed as 1KB .cda files. You'll need to "rip" the track from the CD to get a .wav file from it. In SoundForge, use Tools, Extract Audio from CD.
