Subject:Crashes in Piano Roll

Anyone help with this - whenever changing patches in piano roll or then dropping envelope to timeline I get system crash and asked to re save project - i've tried all the stuff suggested by sonic but no luck

How are you changing a patch in the Piano Roll?!?
