I use a Layla with an analog board (using Vegas, SF & Acid apps). You need to select the Echo recording inputsin the app that you want to record the Acid tracks into (since Acid is using 1&2 you will need to choose 3 thru 8) and route your mixer output buss to these. Make sure to mute the monitor outputs in the Echo console or you will create a feedback loop ( I also pull the monitor faders all the way down just to make sure). I would imagine that you would do something similar with the ADAT route you are wanting to configure but I haven't tried that. In the first instance, an easier alternative may be to render your Acid tracks to a stereo file and just import it into your other app. I do this a lot for importing Acid sessions into Vegas for further overdubs, mixing, etc. Hope this helps. drbam |
