Subject:Acid 4.0 Playback Stutters Posted by: knowbody Date:10/13/2002 6:12:10 AM I'm having a lot of trouble redoing the vocals on a project originally created with Acid 2.0. The loops were on CD and I copied them into a directory on my hard drive. I rerecorded the vocals and have 7 separate tracks (loops 4 or 8 seconds long) Each track has the same Track FX chain (with two plug-ins: Wavehammer and Express reverb. When I play the project the sound stutters and then starts to run slowly like a clockwork LP that's run down. Also if I adjust the height of the explorer window the sound stutters. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this and what to do about it. I'm using Windows XP Pro, Pentium 4 (2GB), 1 GB Ram, Audigy Ext, Radeon 8500DV videocard, drivers up to date.
