Hello, I bought Acid 2.0 1999, now I try to reactivate, everything´s fine, and the support sent me a registration Number. Now listen: there has been a Number for MP3 Plug-In 1.0. What´s that for? Anyway I can save in mp3, but can´t load any into Acid Music 2.0. Was it that for, and where I can activate? Or do I have to by Acid Mucic 3.0. And what´s the deal with AcidXpress? I didn´t really understand (althought I looked thru the last 100 Help Topics in this Forum). Thank You for reading :) |

You might be better off contacting Tech Support for these answers. This forum is for the users to help each other, even if the SoFo guys keep popping in and out. TeeCee |

gigu, ACID 2.0 cannot load MP3 data for use on the timeline. This functionality was not added until ACID 3.0 was released. ACID Music 3.0 would allow you to load MP3 files if you wished to upgrade. As for ACID XPress, it's the free, promo version of ACID. Functionality is quite limited, you can only use 8 tracks at a time, there are no FX to work with, and you cannot save to any format with any real quality. If you already own a copy of ACID, you really have no use for ACID XPress. HTH, Nate |
