CANT IMPORT WAVE FILES IN ACID 3.0,PLS HELP! -ACID Product Family

Posted by: charisma_hk Date:10/16/2002 3:16:51 PM HI ACID FORUM MEMBERS IM new to ACID 3.0 and Ive got a very basic problem which bothers me from "Explorer" command, I tried to import some of my own WAVE FILE loops or audio, but I just cant import after I double click the wav file name, and tried to DRAG, I still cant see the WAVE file transferred to the multi track view of course no sound is heard anyone knows the solution to this problem? thanks very much KEVIN

Reply by: Chienworks Date:10/16/2002 3:21:21 PM If you double-click the file name in the explorer window or drag the file onto the timeline, you should see a "track header" created for it ... a shaded box at the left edge of the screen. You have now added that file to your project. At this point, you have to "paint" the sound on the timeline. Click the mouse on the track to the right of the track header, hold the button down, and drag it to the right. You'll see the waveform appear as you drag. Now you can play your project and hear the sound.
