So you can set up parts or phrases of a loop that you want to use again with out having to hunt for it. George |

So if I set markers or regions in chopper they will be save with file but only useful in Acid? Is this true for markers in track veiw as well |

Even better is to set up the regions in SoundForge, then import the long wav into Acid. All the regions are then clearly marked when you look at the wav in the chopper. You can then just drag the "pre-cut" segments onto the track. This is very similar to having multiple wavs on a single track. |

Cool! Can you tell me..Do markers that I adjust in Track Properties or Chopper have any bearing on how a file is played in the track veiw? I dont see the markers I set in choper or Properties in track veiw. Will I see markers in track veiw if I use you method of setting markers in SF and importing or only in chopper Thanks...sorry about the confusion I guess I could rephraze this to say I dont really understand file handleing in acid. I am gathering that all these settings are changable so I can freely tweek files and choose to save them with the project or to embed the changes in the file? |

Spirit, I just had an aha! with this. Perfect technique for a project I'm avoiding like the plague. :) Do the track markers have to be set in Sound Forge for this technique to work, or would Acid recognize markers (cue settings) set up in Cool Edit? |
