Subject:Acid 4.0 crashing problems? Posted by: Howard1 Date:10/17/2002 4:41:51 AM I have an intermittent fault that oocurs with the message "unexpected exeption occured" I havent experienced this with 3.0 or 1.0 It normally happens when I am ajusting track properties ie from Loop to One shot to Beatmapped , the error message appears and the porgramme shuts down. It also happens when I try to access the loop cloning feature in the chopper window Mainly when I am doing things fast this happens but I am so used to racing around in 3.0 . Anyone had this problem or know why this might be, You do get to go back to your project due to "autosave" but its still odd. AHH Can you help.

I can't remember when - I think when I've tried to open a file in Soundforge and sometimes just on playback - if it happens again I'll take notes. (Windows XP Pro, Pentium 4 2GB, 1 GB Ram, Audigy Ext, Radeon 8500DV videocard, drivers up to date) Chris

Other than that seeing as almost no one is having these problems, you may be looking at re-installing the OS clean. or you may have a video card or sound card/driver issue. TeeCee
