ok, there is one slight problem I have noticed with acid 4.0a...

When you go to record, it puts some of the other tracks in "media offline", making it unable to hear them.

simply cancelling the recording and trying again fixes it.

Will look into that one.

In the mean time, try turning off the close media on loss of focus in the prefs general page.
