Is ther a Selection length indicator?

If I select one bar how can I know its a one bar section

Right-mouse-button click on the ruler and select "Measures & Beats" for the time display. When you select an area you will see three sets of numbers near the lower right corner. The first number is the starting point of the selection, the second number is the ending point of the selection, and the third number is the length of the selection.
