Subject:Question about Midi in Acid Pro 4...

if i record midi from my Nord Lead, when i play it back, theres no signal in the Master Fader.

any reason why?

Because you recorded MIDI, not audio. If you route the MIDI channel properly and you have your cabling right, Acid should play your synth back.

it plays it back, but theres no activity in the Master Fader...no volume.

i always record audio, but i started messing with Midi and was just curious.

If you are playing back MIDI out through your MIDI interface to an external synth, there is no way that ACID can monitor the audio the synth produces. The synth generates the audio and plays it out to your mixing board/amp/monitors (or whatever the outputs from your synth are going to).
