Are ther stereo track and mono track in acid. how can you tell the difference |

Yes, there are 1) you can hear the difference 2) Stereo tracks have two "lines" representing the waveforms, mono one in the center When you record you pick standard (stereo) or to do mono from either left or right. i have no idea why you cant do mixed mono (you'd have to record in stereo and then mixdown in mono or in soundforge) dj xsoundz |

but mono or stereo get summed to a stereo bus? so a mono track will output to a stereo bus only? |

ACID only has stereo buses. You can pan a mono loop/disk file to a stereo bus how ever you'd like. If you right click on the pan fader you can even choose the pan model you want. If you want to send a mono file to the left or right channel of a bus, just do a hard pan. Peter |
