Im running an fm7

normal audio is not cliking but fm7 is

how can I adjust the settings of the softsynth?

do i do it externally in stand alone mode

or in acid

I would try adjusting the buffer settings in ACID. If using ASIO (which I gather you are), you might want to also adjust your soundcard's latency via Options>Preferences under the menu bar. (Use the Advanced button under the Audio tab.)
