Subject:Can not see AVI's / MPEGS in SF 4.5

We are running windows XP with SF 4.5 and when we pull an MPEG or AVI into SF we only get the audio file. If we try and view video there is nothing there. Any ideas i.e. codec, drivers etc

Sound Forge 4.5 does not support video, it only supports audio. You'll have to upgrade to Sound Forge 6.0, which is the latest version (SF 6.0d is the latest update available on our web site).

Not quite. Sound Forge 4.5 supports some video, but only .avi and only installed VCM (i.e. Video For Windows) compatible codecs.
