...is the beginning app for me (minus Sonar for now), hence, how smoothly it melds with my pencil and paper ideas is crucial, and how seamless it melds with SF6 and VV3(for now) is vital to my existence...how's that for clarity..? the video stuff gets in the way for what I'm doin...it's like watching the Weather Channel or whatever (I have basic cable) when I'm trying to focus on the task at hand...anything you can do to make my life easier in the way described, would be great, oh, and inexpensively, of course...

If you were asking about the Video view in Acid(and God only knows if you were), then select "view" at the top, then uncheck "video" and that will get rid of it.
