Clicks when playing samples ??? HELP! -Sound Forge - PC

I thought, great package where I heard a great deal of. So far the package meets my needs except one MAJOR problem: When I am playing a sample a bick click or crackle starts at the beginning, leaving me unable to hear the sample correctly :( (the beginning is clicked/crackeled). When playing the sample in a different app (i.e. Fruityloops) no clicks are heard??? I am using a P4 2,4Ghz Pentium Processor, 512MB, Asus P4t533-C mainboard. Adjusting the bufferlenght didn't work for me :( thanx you very much in advance!
