Subject:Save as Mp3 is extremely slow sometimes

A 15 minute audio seem to take upto 2 hours to save sometimes
and just 16 minutes, sometimes.
I am using identical bitrate, sample rate quality options.

Disk defragmentation, creating more disk space do not seem to
make a difference.

Has anyone found a way to fix that?
I am using Sound Forge 4.5 b

It may have something to do with how complex the file's data is, but I don't really know. Do the files that take 2 hours contain complex musical passages?

Perhaps. No two music files are alike. I can understand if there is 10-25% variation in saving time.
But 500% more time is surprising.
An expert on the MP3 coding data compression might be able to say if such a variation is possible
with just music files. I am not talking of artificially creating a meaningless complex data file.
