Acid/Sound Forge conflict w/ older SoFo products -ACID Product Family

Here's the scoop. I had an older (yes, legal!) version of Sound Forge LE 4.0 on my system. I installed Acid 3.0c and Sound Forge XP 5.0, and all was well, the three progs played together very nicely. Then, to make room, I uninstalled the SF LE 4.0. Boom! Goodbye, blue sky. When I went back into Acid and SF XP, they both asked for my serial number! Oops! Then, when I found and reinput it, Acid could no longer load .wav files -- they were now an unsupported file format. To fix this, had to uninstall and reinstall Acid and Sound Forge XP. Apparently, this wipes out or corrupts some registry keys. Whoopsies!
