Subject:Direct X FX Source Code on Acid 3.0 CD

Just looking for confirmation. Is it legit to compile these examples yourself and use them within the software, like the normal FX? (I figure it is, since why else would they be giving'em away, but I would like to get an official confirm on this.)
Thanks.

You're talking about sfgargle, etc in the PIDK? IANAL, but for personal use, it shouldn't be a problem, as long as you don't distribute them. Also, as the license agreement says, be sure to change the GUID's and names if you end up tweaking the DSP in them.

Best of luck,
Joel
