File association problem -Sound Forge - PC - MAGIX Community Forums Archive

When I try to open .wav files in explorer to SF6, nothing happens. I've tried changing the file association and it says "you must have program installed" which it is. I can open them from context menu "open with" in old version of SF5 but for the life of me cannot get files to open in 6.0 (latest update, fresh install) from clicking on them. I've tried all the windows solutions and file association methods so don't send me to do that. Anything else worth trying?
