Subject:On playback, track one will sound through track two.

If I record one audio track and then another, and mute the first, it will come out of the second audio track merged with what's meant to be on there. I have had this problem with Acid Music 2.0 and Acid Pro 4.0, also with Sonar. Any idea what it could be? Thanks a lot in advance.

This sounds like you have the "What you hear" or Wave output from the card selected as your recording source. Please check the software mixer for your sound card to check that you don't have the mixed output from the card selected as the input. You should only be recording from the line input your guitar is coming in through.
