Subject:Quick Question - just installed, how to make wave change color after save?

I just switched computers, and upon using the newly installed v4.5 I notice that the waveforms aren't changing color to red after I save them, as the previously did. Where do I change that?

Get different colored shades. OR
go to: Options/Preferences/Display - Color preference for: and select parameter/color setting from pull-down menu.

That was the first place I looked, but nothing about a saved file or anything. Can you help??

The red indicates that the file has been re-opened in Direct mode. This re-open case applies to Save As, not Save, when re-opening in Direct mode is faster than re-creating a temp file. You should be prompted in these cases, but that can be disabled with Options->Preferences->General->"Do not prompt for re-open after save".
