Subject:buffer underrun on cd burn

Greetings:

I am trying to burn a cd from an audio file made and saved on Sound Forge Studio and I keep getting buffer underrun notices. Indication that something can't keep up with speed. I am burning on SFS. My factory installed cd burner is Roxio. I am using a Dell Insprion notebook with 512 RAM. I just defreagmented hard drive.

Only difference after defrag is that the notice of buffer underrun comers later in the process now.

Please advise...thank you...Jim

Exit all non-essential programs that may be running in the background, Anti-virus, screensavers, auto back-up ect. to see what's running: Ctrl+Alt+Delete.

2. Render an image of the CD and burn that.
