I'm using SF 5.0 as a kind of sample playback device. I've got a sound file with markers, regions, and a playlist. I've set up the playlist to be triggered (via a MIDI pedalboard), play once and stop at the end of the region. No problems...everything works like a charm. The files trigger instantly, I can play them in any order I want, and all the files are triggered from my guitar pedalboard. However, when I save the playlist with the file (or separately), I'm losing the MIDI trigger information (MIDI notes and Stop Point) that I painstakingly applied to the regions on the playlist. This is a bummer. It will be a majot hassle if I have to reattach the MIDI trigger notes everytime we set up to play. I hope there's a way to do this! Thanks! jp |

Triggers are not saved to .sfl files. You can, however, save them inside the file itself. In the Save As dialog, rename the destination file if you wish, then select "Save Regions and Playlist in .WAV/.AVI files" in the "Rgns/Playlist" combo box. This will also save the TLST chunk (the triggers) in the file. J. |
