Subject:Changing default "engineer" name in properties - How?

OK, this may seem trivial but my Sound Forge installation always puts another person's name as engineer in the file properties dialog by default. I think I was unknowingly logged in as another user when I installed the software and things got set up wrong somehow. How can I change this? Darn it, I bought the software and do the work and I'd like it to say so! :)

I'm not at my PC right now so I can't varify it but I believe it's File > Properties > Summary tab (I think) then enter your name and check the box that says somthing like "default for all projects".

Thanks for the suggestion. I took a look but there's no check box for that in properties and nothing I spotted under Preferences either.

There's a chance you could search the registry for the other person's name and, if found in a context that makes sense, change it to yours. Some software will encode the name so you wouldn't be able to find it as plain text, though. As always, modify your registry at your own peril.
