Subject:Recording/Pops/Clicks/Buffer Size?

When trying to record audio I am getting small but frequent pops and clicks.

I think its because my soundcard (Digidesign AM3) doesnt have the best drivers for Windows and as a result I need to increase the buffer size. However, is the highest I can get this 1472Kb in the Wave option in 'Preferences'?

I think I need it higher than this. Is there anything I can do?
I am using SoundForge 5.0.
