Subject:SF Studio Version upgrade

I upgraded fron version 5.0x to 6.0d. The installer created a seemingly independent program-file structure for 6.0. In fact, 5.0 is still running (seemingly) independently from 6.0.
Can I unistall 5.0 without compromising the performance of 6.0?

Should be able to. (I've been able to.) You can always reinstall 6.0 if something goes wrong.
