Subject:Sound Forge CDA Poll

Just wanted to create a simple poll to see how other users feel about the new CDA5. My question is this: How many users would have prefered that the new release of CDA5 features, would have been better if those features where developed within Sound Forge instead of a seperate app like CDA5? Being more specific, would it be more useful to have features within Sound Forge that allowed you to overlap, mix and edit multiple events with a "second audo layer" option and have volume evelopes within sound forge. Then to be able to place CD track ID's within those edits and burn a disk-at-once redbook CD? Please respond with some "yae's" or "Nae's"

I don't know...I like the idea of "centralizing" ideas, then delegating out those ideas to different apps, albeit each with their own particular strong points, yet working seamlessly well with each other...I may take off my VV3 once I get CDA 5.0, and see how it melds with my SF6 and acid4...not being much for vid stuff right now, it makes sense to streamline what I have on my "desktop" to work with as far as song demos, and I get frustrated with some of the apps out there that glop a whole bunch of shit on...makes me all bleary-eyed and woozy and such...I like my Nero also, but will likely use it mainly for data...I don't like things to proprietary either, but have opted to leave my sonar "to the side" for the time being...
