Since I upgraded to SoundForge 6.0b I randomly get a blast of white noise when I press play. This can be very painful since I monitor with headphones. Most of the time I remember to take the phones off my ears but every now and then I forget. This is usually followed by words I dare not repeat. Am I the only person with this problem? I don't have this occur with any other audio software. Thanks, Larry |

I actually got a noise blast at the beginning of some files that I ripped from CD using Forge and CDA. Weird... |

My problem happens with my own music files and not everytime I click play. I can play the song several times without the noise blast and then the next time I click Play it happens. This is with the same file loaded. It isn't part of the sound file but is coming from something else. I didn't have this problem with previous versions of SoundForge. |

I've never seen or heard of this before. Anything that looks like non-audio data in the data window? What file type, format, etc. and how were they created? What sound card and driver version? Probably wise to contact tech support on this one. J. |
