Subject:Firewire out from SF 5?

I've got SF5 running on my laptop. The laptop has a firewire card installed with all the drivers loaded. When I roll an AVI in SF, I can see the video thru the firewire port, but no audio. How do I get audio in and out of SF5 using my firewire port?

Well, i can tell you that Vegas doesn't support audio out through firewire when simply previewing from the timeline. Perhaps SoundForge uses the same preview engine.

Sound Forge only allows you to output audio through a device that Windows recognizes as a sound card. You can't output video at all, except for rendering it.
