Subject:Crash Problem with 6b.

If I attempt to access the cd tab in options/preferences the whole computer crashes OS is 2k. Installed as administrator as mentioned in knowledge base. Any clues please? I have two burners installed scsi and IDE wondering if this is the problem.

I can't address your problem directly but you might download 6.0d and see if that helps. I have found it more reliable.

Certain USB devices that masquerade as SCSI devices are known to cause problems. If you have anything like that, try unplugging/removing before launching forge.

Thanks both alas the problem was present in 6d and I did a reinstall without the update but problem persists. Obviously I can burn files from the save folder but the problem niggles!
