Is this possible.

Hmmm. I see several issues here and i'm not sure which one you're asking about.

1) You want the region markers saved with the file: check the "Save metadata with file" option when saving.

2) You want to export all the regions to separate files in one step: click Tools / Extract regions. You can specify a location and a base file name for saving the individual files, one for each region.

3) You want to remove sections from the original file and create a new file that contains only the regions you want: double-click inside each region you don't want (this highlights the region) and delete it. Save to a new file. (Do not save to the same file name if you want to keep the original material!) Check the "Save metadata with file" option when saving if you want to retain the region markers in the new file.

Do any of these cover your question?

Yes, Sonic Foundry rox. I was able to create 300 regions (in an 12 hour mpe) extract them all , load them in vegas numerically and make a 140 MB 128k MP3. YEAH!
