Subject:How can I slow down audio without changing the pitch

I have a buddy of mine that has Protools and a plug in called serroto and he can slow any audio down without changing the pitch. He likes to do this with the fastest most technical guitar players recordings so he could hear and learn those technical instrumentals. I would like the do the same. I tried slowing down the tempo in Acid but that just works for midi. I tried it on my friends cakewalk sonar and all it did was clip out and stutter like a cd getting stuck.. There has to be a technique maybe or a plugin for this. Protools can't be the only ones that can do this.. Is there anything in the Sonic foundry line of software products that can do this?
If anyone knows the answer to this please e-mail me at spetsnazrma@aol.com

Thanks

George

The Time Stretch plugin included in Sound Forge is one of the best I know of.
