Subject:failed to register some module on install Posted by: pazzap Date:12/28/2002 10:13:02 AM Sound Forge 6.0d, Win98SE, P4 2.8ghz, 512 ddrram, Asus P4PE. When installing sound forge i get an error message "Unable to register xxxxxxxx.dll", sorry but i cant remmebr the exact name of what it said. I choose "skip" and SF seems to install ok. i remmebr this problem with sound forge 5 and Win98SE machines, i used to think it was because back then i used 98lite. but now i use a "proper" installtion of Win98SE. What exactly is happening, and how important is this module??

Pathetic. i will keep bumping and bumping this till they answer.

As a registered user you have access to tech support directly. That's the biggest perk to being registered. Why not use it? Also, giving a xxxxxxx.dll as a description isn't helping you any. Try to find out what it says exactly.

Tech support should know what's up though. Also, it's very important to know exactly what file it's not downloading. Have you ever considered upgrading to win2000, or winxp? Good luck to ya.
