I've used Sound Forge 4.5 for over a year and no problems. I had a hard drive crash and had to purchase a new one for my laptop. There are no problems, but this bigger, better, faster drive is giving problems on playback on soundforge...it seems it goes to the drive more frequently and gives a 'belch' type sound at different points during playback. It's not always at the same spot...just kind of hiccups at points. Any ideas??? jacqnjosh@yahoo.com |

Sounds like the drive isn't keeping up with the needed throughput. Check to see if DMA is activated. Otherwise, you may have to turn off some of the apps running in the background. |

What is the DMA...and how do you check to see what's running in backround...no other pgms are running when this problem occurs. Thanks |
